With a staff of more than 550 employees, Lactec is considered one of the country’s largest technology centers with its technical staff. The highly-trained operational team consists of more than 160 specialized professionals with masters and doctorate degrees.
Five units of Lactec – Cehpar, LAC, Lame, Leme, and Headquarters – are located in the city of Curitiba and distributed in a built area of 34.5 thousand m². This structure houses about 30 laboratories, where qualified research, tests, and analysis are carried out. The sixth unit is located in Salvador and serves as a support to Lactec’s performance in the North and Northeast regions of the country.
Annually, Lactec invests in its modernization and expansion. Millions are invested in the acquisition and improvement of equipment, while fronts of promotion and innovation seek openings in the national market to expand this structure.
